Patient Services

Patient Check inEnter our bright and airy reception room and you will be greeted by the smiling faces of our team.  Once checked in, help yourself to a tea or coffee from our brand new Coffee Bar.  Any questions you may have can be answered at the front desk or in our private consultation room.

We have seven treatment suites throughout the office.  All of our suites have warm and soft blankets available, televisions, movies, CD players and headphones for our patients’ comfort and relaxation during their appointments.  Some rooms even have a beautiful view of the bay.

Opening hours and directions are available on our contact page.

In addition to performing treatments more effectively, we also aim to minimize your exposure to unnecessary treatments.  For example, harmless low-powered lasers can detect cavities earlier than traditional means can find them and then using Air Abrasion we can often repair them without the need for anesthesia or drills.   For that sparkling smile we use a baking soda spray system to remove stains that traditional methods can’t.

Need a crown?  Our 100% Ceramic Crowns are designed in-house on a specialized cad-cam system ensuring the best possible service. We do not use mercury amalgam fillings, and our on-site sterilization center ensures your health and safety.

Nervous Patients

If you have a fear or condition that is stopping you from receiving the dental treatment you need, then Benicia Family Dentistry can help. All of our staff are highly trained and will make you feel like part of the family before you even step into the office.  In addition to nitrous oxide, which is included for all for any patient that requires it, Benicia Family Dentistry offers Oral Conscious Sedation.

Pinhole Surgical Technique

The Pinhole Surgical Technique (PST™), invented and patented by John Chao, D.D.S., is an incision-free, suture-free procedure for treating gum recession. Through a small pinhole made by a needle, Dr. Parrish uses specially designed instruments to gently loosen the gum tissue and glide it over the receded part of the tooth. Since there is no incision or suturing, patients can expect minimal post-operative symptoms (pain, swelling and bleeding). Most patients also are pleasantly surprised by the instant cosmetic improvement.
